1.1 Clients are invoiced for one full term, payable either in full or in a arrear monthly installments in the related term. All fees are non-refundable, and discounts or refunds will not be given for classes missed by the pupil unless explicitly arranged with the Principal and as a result of not achieving the school results as per the classes program for which the pupil has enrolled.
1.2 The school time to time can propose a monthly subscription for all year at discount price. In that case clients are invoiced for one year but payment will be done on a monthly basis in arrears
1.3 Students may attend make-up classes for up to 2 classes missed per term, subject to availability.
1.4 Full payments or first installments must be paid by the due date at the end of the previous term, and the last installments at the beginning of the month on which the term is completed. Late payments will incur a surcharge of £10 per installment if unpaid after 14 days.
1.5 If payments specified in clauses 1.1, 1.2, or 1.4 are not collected on the 1st of the month, subsequent attempts will be made to collect payment 3 days later and then 5 days thereafter.
If payment remains outstanding after these attempts, we will contact you to address the overdue school fees.
If your payment is not received 14th days after the due date, your child’s place in the class will be forfeited, and the spot may be offered to another student. Please ensure your bank details are updated on your account or contact us immediately to avoid disruption to your child’s enrollment.
1.6 The first child from each family enrolled in one class will be charged the standard subscription plan rate.
Any additional children or classes booked within the same family will receive a 20% discount per extra child or class, with the discount applied to the cheapest class.
This discount will be applied after setting up the enrollment plan for each child. Please note that charges will not be incurred until the 1st of the following month, when the sibling discount has been applied.
2.1 Parents must provide four weeks’ written notice to the Principal if they wish to withdraw a student from classes. Failure to do so will result in four weeks’ fees being charged.
3.1 Students should not attend class if they or anyone in their household has experienced any of the following symptoms in the previous 14 days:
- New continuous cough
- High temperature/fever
- Loss or change of sense of taste or smell
3.2 Students should not attend class if:
- They have symptoms of coronavirus
- They have tested positive for coronavirus
- Someone in their household has tested positive or has symptoms of coronavirus
- They are told to self-isolate by NHS Test and Trace
3.3 Upon returning from a country with a high coronavirus risk, students must follow UK government guidelines on self-isolation and inform the Principal of their absence.
3.4 Parents must immediately inform the Principal if their child or anyone in their household experiences any COVID-19 symptoms, tests positive for COVID-19, is asked to self-isolate by NHS Test and Trace, or has been in close contact with a confirmed case.
3.5 In the event of a student displaying Coronavirus symptoms during class, the teacher will ensure they are moved to a safe, well-ventilated space and contact the parent for collection. The affected area will be cleaned, and parents of all students in the class will be notified by email to monitor their child for symptoms.
3.6 If a second child from the same class becomes unwell, parents must notify the school immediately, and the class will move online for two weeks for quarantine.
3.7 In the event of a local or national lockdown, classes will be rescheduled as online sessions. Any unused portion of class fees attributable to hall hire will be credited to the following term’s invoice, with no refunds available.
4.1 In the event of class cancellation due to teacher illness or injury, the school will reschedule the class where possible. If rescheduling is not possible, the cost of the missed class(es) will be deducted from the following term’s bill.
4.2 Ballable will not be held responsible for cancellations due to reasons beyond the school’s control (e.g., adverse weather), and no credit will be given. However, Ballable will do the best for classes to be rescheduled where possible.
4.3 Parents/legal guardians are not permitted to enter the studio during class . However, they are allowed to stay outside the studio in the ad hoc premises.
4.4 If someone other than a known parent/legal guardian is collecting the student, the school must be informed prior to the class. The school will not release the child if has not been informed.
5.1 All students must wear the uniform outlined by the school for every class, which can be ordered through the school or purchased from a dance shop.
5.2 For health and safety reasons, all jewelry (other than small studs) should be removed before class. Any queries should be directed to the Principal.
5.3 Hair must be secured off the face and tidy for class, with a ballet bun or similar hairstyle required. Short hair should be securely pulled back with clips or a hairband.
6.1 Teachers may provide physical assistance to students in a professional and careful manner to aid learning. However, due to COVID-19 guidance, physical contact will be kept to a minimum, with teachers using hand sanitizer before and after corrections.
7.1 Parents must inform the Principal of any medical conditions, health concerns, or learning difficulties that may affect their child’s learning or performance in class.
7.2 Any injuries should be reported to the teacher prior to or at the start of class.
8.1 Parents are not permitted to watch classes to avoid distractions for students and teachers. Filming or photography through doors or windows is strictly prohibited.
8.2 Parents will be invited to watch their children during designated watching week classes at the end of each term. During these classes, parents are asked to refrain from using their phones and to limit any necessary correspondence.
9.1 The school may take photographs or videos of students for marketing purposes, including use on the website, social media, and flyers. Consent will be obtained and can be withdrawn at any time.
9.2 Filming by parents is not permitted due to copyright and child protection reasons.
9.3 Photography is permitted during watching week classes with the consent of all parents, as requested by the teacher.
10.1 Parents/guardians must provide up-to-date information to comply with GDPR regulations.
10.2 Invoices, receipts, and other materials regarding enrollment will be provided via email, in accordance with the privacy policy.
10.3 Personal data may be used for communication about services, administration purposes, examination documents, urgent notifications, and relevant information regarding a child’s progress.
10.4 Parents/guardians are required to complete a GDPR consent form upon enrollment, agreeing to specific communication preferences. Consent can be withdrawn at any time by contacting the school.
10.5 Medical data will be stored securely and used only to ensure a safe teaching environment.
11.1 Dance is a physical activity with inherent risks, and students participate at their own risk.
11.2 The timetable is subject to change, with parents/legal guardians informed of any alterations.
11.3 Any changes to contact details or medical information should be provided in writing to the Principal.
11.4 Breach of the school’s terms and policies may result in dismissal without refund.
11.5 Code of Conduct and Safeguarding & Child Protection Policies are available upon request from the Principal.
11.6 Risk assessments are available upon request from the Principal.
